It's another way to pay for purchases at participating merchants and in supported applications using a compatible iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. At retail locations, you simply hold your Apple device close to the terminal reader for a quick approval. It's also safer to use than your physical card as your card details are never shared during the purchase. The card number is not saved in the device. For additional details go to

The device ID is a 16 digit number assigned to your card and saved on the device in place of your actual card number. The device ID/account number is used to process your purchase and merchants never see your actual card number.

For an iPhone, open the Wallet app then click on the plus sign (upper right hand corner) or "Add Credit or Debit Card." Next, enter your Apple ID password and click OK. Then use your camera to capture your card information. You can also manually type in your card number.

To set up an iPad, go to Settings, then Wallet and Apple Pay. Tap Add Credit or Debit Card and follow the same steps above for the iPhone.

To set up an Apple Watch open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, select Wallet & Apple Pay and tap on "Add Credit or Debit Card then follow the same steps above for an iPhone.

No. Your card number is not saved on your device nor is it sent to merchants.

Yes. A confirmation email or letter will be sent within 3-5 business days to the email address on file with the credit union.

When you register a card that is associated with your iTunes account, it recognizes the card number and it will ask you to enter the 3 digit (CVV) code on the back of the card.
