Inspirus Digital Banking: Managing Budgets

Select the BUDGETS widget. Enter the name of the budget in the field below "Budget Name."

  • SELECT YOUR ACCOUNTS: Check the box next to the account or accounts you want to be a part of the budget.
  • EXPENSES: Choose from the drop down list and enter the dollar amount budgeted You can add a category by selecting the Add a Category button.
  • INCOME: Choose from the drop down list and enter the dollar amount budgeted You can add a category by selecting the Add a Category button.

To create and save your budget, select the Create Budget button.

When logged into digital banking, you can export transactions from the Dashboard. Click on the account. At the top of the list of transactions, you will see a print symbol and an export transactons symbol. 

You can export transactions in the following formats: Comma separate values (CSV); Open Financial Exchange (QFX); Quicken WebConnect (QFX); Quickbooks (QBO).

Yes! Log into Digital Banking and select the BUDGETS Widget. Click on the HELP button in the upper right corner for more information.

Inspirus Credit Union's Digital Banking works with Mint, Quicken, Quickbooks, and more. To synchronize your accounts, you may need to export your transactions. 

Digital Banking offers 4 different file format options to export your account information:

  • Comma Separated Values (CSV)
  • Open Financial Exchange (OFX)
  • Quicken Web Connect (QFX)
  • Quickbooks (QBO)

You may also download the CSV format to your desktop and then import the file into a spreadsheet. To find the best file format option for your financial software, check your software's help guide.

Yes. Log into Digital Banking and select Settings, which is found in the upper right corner under Messages and above Logout. Select Accounts from the menu at the top. Select the Link an External Account button. There are 2 options: External view-only accounts (where you can view balances and transactions only) and External transfer account. You will be required to log into the external account. External view-only accounts will be added to your list of accounts under the heading, "External Accounts." The view only option is not available. For external transfer accounts (where you can transfer funds to and from this account) two trial deposits will be sent to the external account. You will need to verify the trail deposits before transfers can be made. This process can take up to 3 business days.

You can view your spending over multiple months or a single month. By default, the system displays your spending for the current month. Select multiple months by holding down shift and selecting the desired months.

Members using Quicken Web Connect (manually logging into online banking to download the Quicken files) can continue the same process. The download button can be found at the top of the transactions list in online banking.

Members using Quicken Express Web Connect (they have entered their online banking username and password in the Quicken software) will need to make some updates. The instructions can be found here.
